Activating and inserting a Lidl prepaid SIM card. Smartphone explained simply.
Buy a SIM card at the supermarket and start making calls. Unfortunately, it's not quite that simple. There are a few steps you need to take before you can make calls with this SIM card. I'll show you how it works with the LIDL starter package in this video. I'll explain step by step how to activate the SIM card and authenticate it via PostIdent. For this video, I'll use a prepaid SIM card and show you where to select your prepaid plan and what options you have for topping up your credit. In the video, you'll see what's included in the starter package and what you can do with it. I go online using a computer browser and activate the SIM card on the www.lidl-connet.de website, and then log in to Lidl-Connet. I then connect to PostIdent via the browser and perform the video identification for the SIM card. Finally, I'll show you what to look out for when inserting the SIM card into your smartphone and where to find your PIN and PUK number for the SIM card.
