Boa Constrictor Chess - Master Closed Positions
With a very instructive game we will se how to play in closed positions. How to think and how to time your chess. In the game Nikolic makes a lot of slow prophylactic manouvres to stop white's attack. After that is done the counterattack plays itself. Learning to play in this way take time but it is worth the effort. In the game it feels like white is fighting and fighting to get something going but is just slowly squeezed in the grip of the boa constrictor! Scary and effective stuff. A video that will improve your understanding of closed positions.
