DIY: TROUSER TO OVERALL/BIB DRESS REFASHION || How to Transform Old Clothes
Welcome to refashion revision where I take outdated clothes and turn it into new. In this episode, I’ll be turning these black and white trousers into a detachable overall skirt. Click "SHOW MORE" for more info!
I bought these trousers 4 years ago when I was pregnant with my 3rd child, planning to wear it once I had the baby. But I ended up never wearing it, not even once! So I decided to transform it into an overall/bib/dungaree skirt that is detachable so I could wear it as a pencil skirt as well.

Gemstone is 8x10mm pink morganite
For this project you’ll need:
5-6 buttons for the inside of the waistband
sewing needle
matching thread
safety pin
2 buttons for outside the waistband
scissors
seam ripper
Project cost: $4 for the buttons
Estimated time: 2.5 hours
Skill level: intermediate
Do you like the buttons I switched to? I feel since the size is smaller and it’s matte instead of shiny, it blended with the overall skirt more and didn't take so much attention away as the other one. What do you think?
