We decided to help curate short films to aid showreel for actors - Charlotte and Miguel approached us with the script and we produced this period drama short for their showreel.
Set on a sun-drenched afternoon in the rolling countryside, this heartfelt period drama short film follows Evelyn and Thomas, childhood friends entangled in the quiet ache of unspoken love and unchangeable futures. As they run through a field rich with memories and laughter, a deeper tension slowly rises—whispers of duty, forbidden love, and choices they cannot make.
🎬 A lighthearted, nostalgic beginning gives way to a more poignant emotional turn, underscored by the contrast of playful banter and a growing sense of loss and longing. The story builds toward a breathtaking, unresolved final moment, leaving the viewer with the ache of what could have been.
