How to increase the spacing between words in Word | Expanding the space between words
Welcome to the Word Courses channel. In this video, we'll show you how to easily increase the spacing between words in Microsoft Word. We'll explain three different methods, including increasing the spacing between all words in the text or just specific words.
Method 1: Using the Paragraph Menu:
Select the text you want to increase the spacing between.
Right-click on the selected text.
Choose "Paragraph."
In the Paragraph dialog box, click on the Spacing tab.
Select "Word Spacing" from the Spacing menu.
Enter the desired value in the Value box.
Click "OK."
Method 2: Using a Keyboard Shortcut:
Select the text you want to increase the spacing between.
Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + W.
The Word Spacing dialog box will open.
Enter the desired value in the Value box.
Click "OK."
Method 3: Using the Ruler:
Select the text you want to increase the spacing between.
Click the "View" tab.
Make sure the ruler is enabled.
Place the cursor on the ruler where you want to increase the spacing.
Drag the cursor to the right to increase the spacing between words.
