Being Dyslexic and Building a Business
Welcome to this episode of Wayne’s World, we would like to talk to you about entrepreneurs that have dyslexia.
Personally I have dyslexia and have only recently found out, there are occasions where it holds me back:
For example when studying for exams and when I read I’m conscience of the speed.
After I didn’t pass my exams after studying around 8 hours a day for them, I wondered it must be something else, this made me have a dyslexia screening where all was revealed.
The results showed I was at high risk of being dyslexic. People need to understand that it causes problems with processing and understanding information.
There are disadvantages with it but you shouldn’t let them hold you back, for me it brings clarity. Many famous entrepreneurs have dyslexia but it doesn’t hold them back such as Steve Jobs, Richard Branson and Steven Spielberg.
It didn’t hinder their process in going forward, there is a lot of hope with being dyslexic. It doesn’t stop you from doing anything!
Entrepreneurship allows me to showcase and express my vision. I thrive on being a entrepreneur there are challenges and hardship but I can use my core and strong skills to grow.
