This is my fourth full length album, Catharsis, recorded between January 2015 and May 2, 2019 and released May 4, 2019.

While working in 2012, around December 2014, I felt I really wanted to do something more ambitious than what I was working on at the moment. I was listening to a lot of progressive rock and jazz fusion and I wanted to try to write stuff like that. Of course, the material I was writing had no place in 2012, so I decided to start working on a new album even before finishing the previous one. I first wrote Plastic Beauty, which is the closest you get to 2012 on this album and I liked the "opening track" feel it had, but I already had Pánico for the other album, so I left it as the opener for the upcoming album, and then it went overboard and wrote and recorded Catharsis and Extradimensional Beings. I was also writing lyrics in English and 2012 was meant to be an album in Spanish. I discovered I'm better at writing in English than Spanish, so I decided to do this album in English.
I wanted this album to be as experimental and varied as I could make it and I had the most different tracks put in the same album on purpose wanting people to wonder what the hell is going to come up next.
One interesting case is Law EA, that I always intended to be part of this album but recorded it on the 2012 sessions first and eventually included it in Aftermath. The main reason was that I wrote the song in C# tuning, but I then played the main riff in D tuning and it sounded great as well. Because I couldn't decide on which version of the song to keep as final, I decided to record it twice, in C# for Aftermath and in D for Catharsis.
