With the release of the new X-Men ‘97 its weird that it seems like NO ONE is watching this show. While everyone is talking about how great the artstyle is, DeMayo getting fired, and overall great story that brings the X-Men back into the mainstream. It seems like Disney and Marvel find that this X-Men hype might just be an ecochamber and not finding any new fans. That could explain a lot because the X-Men ‘97 show is a direct continuation from the X-Men Animated Series from the 90s. With such a big barrier to entry could it be that people aren't watching X-Men ‘97 for fear of having to play catch up? or has Disney and Marvel diluted their brand so much to the point that nobody cares anymore.
