We talked with Oleg Mandić about his book "The Last Child of Auschwitz."
On January 27, 1945, the Red Army liberated the last prisoners of Auschwitz. Among them was the Mandić family: grandmother, mother, and 12-year-old Oleg. They left the camp at 12:00 noon on March 2, 1945. Oleg was the last child to leave Auschwitz. This is his story. A powerful and poignant testimony, from the voice of that child who became a man. A book to help us never forget the Holocaust.
