We all know that life after school can get a little overwhelming and confusing. Meet Joe Wehbe and Scott McKeon, two authors from 18 & Lost? So Were We. and a duo of killers that are sharing their coming of age stories, their advice on taking the next few steps post-high school and how to figure out, well, life.
Joe has been killin’ it on business projects and education initiatives for young people transitioning out of school and into the world of early adulthood. Joe’s journey embodies the idea that studying and finding your passion after school is anything but linear and straightforward.
From studying civil engineering, Scott has found purpose in collaborating, designing and co-founding Espresso Displays, developing the world’s thinnest screen monitor with one of his uni mates. Scott believes there is a massive information gap between school and university, and is all about giving students the confidence and information that was never given to them.
Joe and Scott from this week’s episode of Killin’ It have partnered with Year 13 to invite you for a launch day discount for their book 18 & Lost? So Were We. For one day only (Saturday 18th September), the book will be half-price! To take advantage of that, head to the 18 and Lost website below for instructions and the chance to win launch day giveaways!
