Lalita Ramakrishnan, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, is using her Wellcome Principal Research Fellowship to tackle one of the top ten causes of death worldwide: tuberculosis.
Her team are looking at the pathology of the disease - using zebrafish to follow the fate of individual cells and bacteria.
