OCAD University, in partnership with the 2024 DemocracyXChange Summit (DXC24) is pleased to present the President’s Speaker Series, featuring inspiring and unique voices on issues that are shaping the present and future of Canadian society.
Toronto-based artists Rocky Dobey, Khadijah Morley, Ekow Nimako, Fiona Smyth and curator Lisa Deanne Smith discuss how their practices inspire and reflect ways of being that reposition the meaning of power to be grounded in respect, cooperation and emotional intelligence. The panel was inspired by an exhibition titled power, held at OCAD University’s flagship professional gallery, Onsite Gallery.
