Introducing a 17th century recipe book for the 2023 Transcribathon!
The first in a three part short series, watch as we introduce our 17th century manuscript featuring in the 2023 Transcribathon!
On 17 November, we are delighted to once again be taking part in a Transcribathon with the Wellcome Collection and Early Modern Recipes Online Collective (EMROC).
On the day will be the opportunity to have a go at virtually transcribing two texts through the FromThePage interface from the comfort of your own home.
One of the texts is a 17th century recipe book from our collection.
There will also be zoom rooms to drop into and a series of online talks about early modern recipe books. Come join us online to explore early modern recipes of all kinds. Everyone is welcome — no experience necessary!
