I was given the task to create a film and workbook, as a group, with people in my module.
The film we create had certain parameters. I must have used the 4 elements covered in the Module: Considered use of Colour, The Sequence Shot, Lighting Change(s) and a Sequence utilising POV Techniques.
Also, there should be 2 Characters – any age, sex, race but bear in mind you will need to use them for a number of days including a location shoot in the countryside.
They should not be in a relationship – perhaps their paths cross but one or the other is unaware? One character may see the other from afar – perhaps they both watch each other from a distance? This is the POV sequence -‐ your visit and planning (recce) should suggest what could and might happen here.
Think about a sense of place and routine.
Eventually, the characters meet. Where? Why? The film does not have to end in this sequence…
Dialogue or sound design should be minimal or absent.
