Come Together - Chris Brown feat. H.E.R. (Cover)
So I got a new job (yay me!) which is fab, but I haven't had as much time to record new songs or original music because of it. Thanks to COVID my house is FULL of people who have to work from home and strangely enough they don't appreciate me singing in the background of all their conference calls...who knew? Anyway, this is something I started working on like a month ago and never uploaded because I wasn't 100% happy with it. I LOVE this song and I knew I could do better than what I was doing, but I'm working on un-clenching my butt cheeks because a long time ago I played live all the time and when you're live you don't get do-overs and you definitely don't get to sit and analyze every note or run that didn't come out exactly the way you wanted it to. I'm trying to get back to a place of just having fun and embracing mistakes and imperfections in my voice and my music because that's what's REAL! So here it is. My imperfect mostly acoustic, 3-take cover of "Come Together" by the ever soulful Chris Brown and H.E.R.
