Evinrude ETEC VST Filter Maintenance / 3 Year 300 Hour Service
I walk you through the steps involved in replacing the VST Filter on the Evinrude ETEC Outboard Motor. This VST filter is often overlooked when performing maintenance on the Evinrude ETEC Outboard. Since the VST Pump and filter are critical components for reliable ETEC operation, cleaning or replacing the VST filter is recommended every 3 years or 300 hours of service. Mine was definitely dirty and needed changed.
