The iPower 80W, released in 2016, impressed users with its robustness and battery life. Five years later, Eleaf is reviving this success and expanding the range with a dual-battery box mod boasting a sleek and modern design. With these two mod boxes, Eleaf is riding the current trend of elegant and sporty boxes with stitched leather without simply copying the competition. Fast USB-C charging completes the package.
One box with an integrated battery, the Power 2, uses dual 18650 batteries and emphasizes ease of use thanks to its new Avatar chipset, which offers three operating modes: Power, Smart, and Voltage. While these boxes don't have temperature control modes, they do feature intelligent assistance that indicates the optimal power range as soon as a clearomizer is attached. Although the chipset simply provides the indication in Power or Voltage mode, it goes further in Smart mode by preventing the coil from exceeding its maximum power rating—a real plus for beginners or vapers with multiple clearomizers!
The iStick Power 2 is therefore a mod box with an integrated 5000 mAh battery, which remains the current benchmark for battery life. Capable of delivering 80W of power, it will be able to reliably power many "All Day" clearomizers, whether for direct or indirect inhalation.
With the Power 2C and its two interchangeable batteries, you can reach 160W, more than enough to drive even the most power-hungry coils. However, be aware that while nothing prevents the use of large clearomizers (no rim or battery compartment cover), anything over 25mm in diameter will start to exceed the dimensions of the mod, compromising its aesthetics. But that's a matter of personal preference.
