Lucas Giolito was drafted straight out of high school in the first round by the Washington Nationals in 2012. After undergoing Tommy John surgery, Giolito recovered and is now shooting through the minor leagues as the number one prospect in the Nationals system. His coaches say he's got big league stuff and will make it to the show eventually. But for now he's still in Single A, so that means he's going to be shagging flies during batting practice on the days he doesn't pitch and staying with a host family with teammate Spencer Kieboom.
