Take Orlando "Doc" Gooden, who is helping to reimagine the future of East St. Louis, Illinois by nurturing inclusive athletic communities. The city of less than 30,000 has been through hard times, but that isn't the story you'll see on the playing fields where Coach Doc holds court. He's envisioning a different future, and so are the kids that call him coach.
