Pinellas County Schools' fourth graders experience nature up-close at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve.
Pinellas County Schools have resumed their fourth grade environmental science field trips. Today we visit Boyd Hill Nature Preserve in St. Petersburg with fourth grade students from Westgate Elementary School. These students learn about water, erosion, sentinel chickens and identify plants and animals during their nature walk. Every fourth grade student in Pinellas County has an extensive environmental science section as part of their curriculum , and this field trip brings it to life.
