Cleaning the RCA Victor 8 Bx6 Chassis
I started the process of cleaning the chassis on this radio. One thing I learned, later on, is that the name and address were most likely written by a repair person. When the radio is taken into the shop, they write the customer's information on it in order to make sure they get the correct radio to the customer.
Having learned this, I would have considered keeping it there. But at the same time, it's not part of the original radio. So, you can decide either way.
