This is video 1 of 3 of a beginner level guitar lesson on how to play the power chord (5th chord) and exercises to practice to begin using the power chord in playing. This lesson is shown on electric guitar but works for Acoustic guitar as well.
I recorded this with a cell phone (nokia N95) running a cheap Ibanez guitar through a Washburn Combo amp. I will be uploading more videos this week for beginner guitarists on youtube and plan on making a website of instructional videos in 2009, so be sure to subscribe to my channel.
