Productivity Chrome Extension
This is a demo for a project trying to tackle a few challenges "Create a Chrome Extension," "Paired Programming Session," and "Create a Productivity Hack." We learned how to create and upload your own Chrome extension!
This extension will allow the user to input websites they want to block and enable/disable the blocking at any time. The goal is to have a tool that keeps you from wasting time on social media or streaming sites when you need to focus. We added a message that pops up whenever they try to visit a blocked site, reminding them why they did it and encouraging them to finish their work. We're excited to keep working on this and turn it into a fun extension with a better interface! 😄
We followed the tutorial noted below for the blocking capabilities and help from Stack Overflow to load our own JS on a specific website.

Side note: I'm sure you can tell I should get more sleep at hackathons, sorry for tired narrations.😂 Believe it or not, I was very excited about these demos. Better tech videos to come!
