A cosmic void listening to their screams,
Of knowing nothing, yet knowing all,
These tiny pets of mine.

Pestilence born upon a rock,
Where life is just a fleeting speck of dust,
Yet here I am, a monument of fear,
Where I witness you, dear saviour,
The one who wields the chalice of mortals,
Who drinks from my body of ruin,
And claims they will slaughter my radiant light,
Foolish little child.
The moonlight wanes to let the sun scream,
I speak in the tongue of the monsters,
To bear witness to your darkest dream,
Where I give you this warning, this age old tale of woe.
