In this video i show an open source workflow for scanning objects with a camera by taking pictures from many viewpoints.

If possible, choose a small aperture (e.g. f/22) to have a wide range of sharpness. You can use free software like DARKTABLE to batch-resize your pictures before placing them in MESHROOM. Prepare to wait for hours for the mesh to be exported by MESHROOM, depending on your graphics card. Meshroom requires a graphics card with CUDA capability greater than/ equal to 2.0.
