HTPC (Home Theater PC) Budget Build Running Linux
As promised here is a budget HTPC (Home Theater PC) build that we just completed. Based on the very capable Celeron G1840 (Haswell Rrefresh) cpu, and running Linux Mint 17.2, this system performs very well & is great as an HTPC and for general computing uses.
Building a very capable HTPC does not have to be expensive and this budget build proves that. Component selection is most important for a quiet and capable PC.
