A suburban teen girl and her younger brother are forced to stop a terrifying internet trend that their parents' hysteria has resurrected.
In this realistic creature feature, a terrifying internet craze dubbed "Grimcutty" sends all the parents in the town into a frenzy because they think it's causing their children to hurt themselves and others. Asha Chaudry's parents think that she is self-harming as part of a challenge until a real-life Grimcutty begins attacking the adolescent. Asha must figure out how to reach her parents and end the Grimcutty once and for all because her phone has been taken away and nobody believes her.
