Uncle Arla and the Gator (Original)
This is a song that I wrote based on a true story. Every summer we would go to Louisiana to visit my grandparents and we would go fishing at my Great Uncle Arla's (pronounced R-lay) house. On this particular occasion there was an alligator in the catfish pond that would eat our fish right off of the line. The only inaccuracy about the song is that I made him sound far more Cajun than he really was.
