Tuning SQL Server :-Identifying and Fixing the CPU issue
In this video we continue our discussion on tuning Microsoft SQL server. In particular we explore CPU related issues. I cover how you can identify the root cause of CPU issues and also continue further and then straight something quick and simple methods that can be used to reduce CPU utilization. In the video I show the impact of good indexing on CPU performance. I tried to demonstrate how transactional systems behave differently from data warehousing. And the impact that parallelism has on concurrency and overall CPU utilization.
