The sun was setting in rare form and so I decided to do a time lapse of it. The clouds rolling in combined with the smoke from the fires in Siberia made for a surreal red sunset with light rays peeking through the clouds on to the waters of Puget Sound. I used a Canon 50D and an 18-135mm lens set to an aperture of f/8. I shot around 2000 stills every 3 seconds for 2 hours to make this video. It was shot at Lincoln Park in West Seattle. Clips of this scene will be included in my summer long time lapse project. Hope you enjoy!
