Colombia Journey of Compassion - January 12-22, 2025
We are excited to announce that REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the Colombia 2025 Journey of Compassion! This 10-day journey, taking place from January 12th to January 22th, 2025, invites you to partake in a transformative experience in Colombia, a nation rich with culture and in need of our support.
Colombia faces significant challenges—over 2.48 million refugees and migrants from Venezuela have increased the economic disparities, leaving families without basic healthcare. Children are often left to fend for themselves, making them vulnerable to being lured into gang life or other illegal activities.
This journey provides an exceptional opportunity for your family to serve together. It is designed to be family-friendly, with activities suitable for participants of all ages, and offers a special discount for families of three or more. Kids of all ages will be thrilled by our team of acrobats as they entertain the community at the daily outreaches.
On this journey, you will engage in a variety of impactful activities including conducting mobile medical clinics in communities with no access to affordable healthcare. The healthcare crisis was, and still is exasperated by the pandemic which left families without income and has plunged 3.5 million people into poverty. This often comes as a result of refugees failing to gain “regular status”. Largely due to lack of proper documentation or other barriers, families suffer without opportunity for employment, education or basic health services. This has left a void which continues to negatively impact the Venezuelan refugee populations in Bogota.
In addition to providing urgent medical care, you will be prayer walking and distributing crucial supplies like water filters and food. Each day, you will have opportunities to share the gospel, heal the sick in Jesus’ name, and see firsthand the Kingdom of God bring transformation in practical and supernatural ways. These efforts offer a profound way to engage directly with local communities, providing both tangible help and spiritual encouragement.
