In this video we evaluate the FNIRSI LCR-P1 Component tester. It was hoped that it might be an improvement on the older component testers like the TC1 used for comparison in this video. However, the LCR-P1 with firmware 1.05 has many bugs and also cannot identify many components that the older testers can identify correctly.
This video ended up longer than expected but we go in detail with semi-conductors and capacitors. The "Chapters" section below has the locations of the various sections and tests in case you wish to skip to them.
