"run the labyrinth, princess. run and be defeated, be mine."
the princess and the goblin was one of my favourite fairytales growing up (read: my UNCLE'S VERSION of it) and i've been remembering him a lot in the past few weeks... thinking about this particular fairytale led me to thinking about the labyrinth and then naturally remembering i have a whole notebook filled with stories about it tucked away somewhere in my closet... and so here we are. heavy aesthetics, no plot other than the good old "i made a wish and ate the sweet goblin fruit and now i'm trapped in the underworld with its hot immortal king" - my new year's resolution is to try and ignore the ever growing weight of worldbuilding and plot and just go with the VIBES.
dunno where to insert this particular thought so here it is: i love how many parallels these two share with jareth and sarah.
shout out to @ItsJessEdits and her hades/persophone edit, that i haven't stopped thinking about for literal MONTHS, for inspiring this little mess of my own :)
