You Can Go Bowling In Destiny With Salvations Grip's Rework
Destiny 2 Lightfall - Season of the Deep
Salvations Grip has received a complete overhaul in season of the deep. Instead of a single crystal it now fires 6 in a triangle formation. Think of them as a set of bowling pins. And the uncharged shot acts as a regular grenade launcher but does extra damage to stasis crystals and frozen targets, this is a huge buff to what it was before but that's hardly saying much.
Salvations grip is best used with a stasis subclass as there is obvious synergy between it and fragments such as whisper of shards and whisper of fissures. And the titan / hunter aspects cryoclasm / shatterdive.
This is more of a fun utility weapon than something to bring into tough content. But I can see the ability to generate overshields and armor charge on demand being very useful.
