Rippaverse is apolitical and does not insert ideological messaging into the comic books. Eric July made it clear that an employee's politics are irrelevant in the creative process and all that matters is whether or not the person can do the job at a competent level. Detractors claim that Eric July and Rippaverse are becoming woke because of who the company hired.
