They Came: Surviving an Australian Outback Zombie Outbreak is the first in a planned series by me, author Ash Steene.
The book is written in English and is an action-packed, adventurous, humorous, and horror-filled story set in the Australian outback.
Centered around main character, Ash Andrews, an Australian Army veteran, now tour operator, based in a quiet, picturesque Australian outback town. The laid-back routine of country life is violently interrupted by a malevolent mass of marauding zombies.
The reader is taken through the journey from quaint Australian outback life to survival mode and vengeance, as Ash's tour group battles the horrors with a unique range of tactics, weapons, vehicles and equipment.
Meet the characters: Ash Andrews, Buster, Shelly Belle and Kapang (that's his nickname; find out why). Will they survive?
Fair warning to all - Whilst it sets the scene in the beautiful Australian outback, all the wonders of the native fauna and flora abound, it does contain graphic violence and is laced with Australian slang and humour.
