VII. Ultra-fine Monitor Structure: Variable Overdrive. Response Time - FINAL

Previous video about the fine structure of a monitor and response time inconsistency:    • VI. Тонкая структура монитора: неПостоянст...

The previous video ended with us discovering a mysterious doubling of response time under normal conditions. In this video, we'll learn why this happens, why response time can depend on FPS (wuuuuuuut?), why this is generally a good thing, and what Variable Overdrive (Dynamic Overdrive, Adaptive Overdrive, Static Overdrive) is and why it's needed. We'll also touch on G-Sync (and other compatible options) and Free-Sync. In short, this concludes the topic of response time.
