Thanks for watching,
I noticed that a lot of my research I do on i-pad because it is more interactive and it is easier to take notes simultaneously as I am watching a video or looking at the graphs.
In this video we are going to evaluate 3 different aspects of trading and doing a research on iPad.
We are going to start off with Software review that I use when it comes to investing or trading.
Second part is going to consist of the differences between browser and app features
And in the last part I will share my tips and tricks when it comes to maximizing productivity while on the go.
Make sure to stick around for the whole video to get the full experience on what its like to trade on iPad. Let’s go ahead and get startedTD ameritrade is my preferred broker so we are going to be looking at their apps. Right now on the screen you can see thinkorswim platform that is mainly used for data analysis and personally I prefer to use it for technical analysis. All of the indicators and the graph itself are well pronounced and if you ever have the need to change the settings of the graph you can do so by customizing your preferences.
One thing to point out is that I never noticed any delays on this app within last few years. I think TD Ameritrade is doing a great job at keeping up with the growing demand for more active trading. If you ever experience any delay or want to increase the speed of frequency of your updates make sure to have a good internet connection and you can also request your updates to have no delay and be reflected in the real time prices.
TD Ameritrade Mobile
This app has slightly different design but its made with the same purpose. Some of the main features include:
-Top icons
-My account
-Multitude of other features
This app is designed for mobile devises and I found that it works the best on my iPhone. As you can see on the screen that some of the features are not available in the full screen mode unlike they are in thinkorswim. Non the less some of us will find this app being more user friendly for their investment technique.
If we compare TD Ameritrade Mobile to a Browser version, we can see that the color scheme is different and it has a lot more features than the mobile app. There are way too many features to go over but some of the most noticeable examples will include ability to do a split screen with notes or any other app that supports split scree option.
It comes in very handy when I am doing a research about a particular stock and have to make a decision on the go.
I hope you enjoyed this video and will subscribe for more content like this.
The next video is going to be about Stocks app for IOS devices so don’t miss out on that and I hope you have a great day! See you in the next one!
