It's always a good idea to microchip your pets, just in case they somehow get lost. But nowadays, there are other ways to track your pets in real-time. One man is capitalizing on that idea, creating his own GPS system with collars and harnesses for dogs.
It's called the iFin -- a user-friendly, durable GPS tracking device with an encapsulated battery, made specifically for dogs.
@sharkfingearcompany6078 CEO Jack Armstrong says, "Batteries have been known to catch fire. So by encapsulating it, you eliminate oxygen to the battery and that doesn't allow it to over heat and catch fire."
The product is patent-approved and currently in development, but Armstrong says he's confident it will be on the market soon.
