Tori Sparks and Javier Garcia
Tori Sparks was born in Chicago; she later lived in Nashville, but has been based in Barcelona, Spain, since 2011. Known as a force of nature onstage and called “an adventurer” by Rolling Stone magazine, Tori has released 8 albums and has toured in 24 countries.
She and her percussion player, Javi García, recorded three live songs at Subrosa during their October 2022 tour in Germany. This was their last show on their first tour outside of Spain since the global pandemic began in March 2020, and they were very happy to see their Dortmund fans again. They love playing independent music venues like subrosa.
