April is Lawn & Garden Month AND Earth Day- What are you doing in your yard to better the environment? Why not a RAIN GARDEN! Rain Gardens manage rain and provide valuable support to pollinators. Join Friends of the Rouge and Sierra Club Michigan Chapter as we give an overview of what a rain garden is and how to build and maintain and successful garden. Then hear from Detroit resident, and rain gardener extraordinaire, Carolyn Pruitt, about her experience planning an building rain gardens.
