It's hard to understate how much I love the music from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and the overworld theme in the Dark World has got to be one of my favourites. In this video, I offer my humble opinions as a musician on some of the music theory behind this absolute banger of a track, and why I think it works so well as a well rounded piece of game music history.
