We all make mistakes. While working on some game assets, I forgot to make a duplicate of a base model and ended up destroying it by adding details.

✅Back up the base model before making changes
✅Consider remaking the base model if too many changes have been made
✅Use Vertex snapping to match other vertices on the model
✅Turn on automatically merge vertices to snap vertices together easily
✅Be careful when using merge by distance, as it can join pieces that are not supposed to be connected.
