NEOWISE - The End Of An Era
On July 31st 2024 The Comet and asteroid hunting and tracking telescope NEOWISE officially completed its mission after over 10 years of helping us discover, catalog and track NEO's or Near Earth Objects in an effort to actively protect Earth against potential future collisions. It's work and legacy will surely go down the ever growing history of space exploration.
When I learned it was being decommissioned I felt it fitting to talk about, and share it with you all. I hope you enjoy!
