When the Mazda CX-30 is more expensive than the CX-5

Today we're talking about Mazda crossovers. First up, the CX-30 is a model between the CX-3 crossover, which isn't available in our market, and the CX-5, which we do have. Why wasn't the new model called the CX-4? Because such a model already existed in China, based on the old CX-5. The CX-30 shares the Mazda 3 platform.
Engine? Only a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter (150 hp). There are three versions. The base model comes with front-wheel drive and a manual transmission, plus two more luxurious options—with an automatic, front-wheel drive, or all-wheel drive.
The Mazda 3 was never assembled in Russia, and the CX-30 is being tuned at the Mazda Sollers joint venture in Vladivostok. Listed prices for the 2021 models range from 1,650,000 to 2,154,000 rubles, excluding packages. In this regard, the Mazda CX-30 is almost the same as the Mazda CX-5. It's simply impossible not to compare the purchasing terms under these circumstances.
