CS:GO Min Requirements vs NEW Dust2
New dust2 is pwetty... but how many frames do we sacrifice to get there? Do the minimum requirements still hold up?
Full PC Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4GHz)
ABIT IP35 Pro LGA 775
4GB Generic DDR2-666
EVGA Nvidia 9600 GT SSC (though an 8600 GT would be fine)
WD Blue 160GB SATA HDD
EVGA 500W 80+ PSU
Last time I got a lot of comments saying "wow my PC is better than this but CSGO performs worse?" so I'll put some common things to check:
Are all your drivers properly installed and up to date?
Is your PC overheating? Check temperatures and make sure everything's happily below around 75°C on load.
If your computer is a laptop, then it'll struggle more due to the very low clock speeds and power design.
Check that no background programs are sapping that sweet sweet fps
