A beautiful fingerstyle take on a beloved Christmas song. From a playing perspective, this is a great piece for the intermediate player, as it focuses on two types of playing. The first of which is rubato. In the performance video, Matt uses this concept to slow the tempo down in sections to elicit more emotion.
Secondly, this piece is a great study for playing slow. Songs with fast tempos are revered for being difficult to play. But performing slower-paced songs can be equally challenging.
