So HUGE disclaimer...returning to mod this game in 2024 was quite possibly the biggest headache i've ever experienced compared to all other games I've modded (yes, including Cyberpunk). And it's all because I made one simple mistake...
Do not, and I repeat DO NOT re-install this game and drag old mod files into your folder. Always be sure that you are using the latest update of any mod, and if a certain mod hasn't been updated in ages BE SURE to read the post section for any feedback if it still works properly. Months ago I uninstalled the game, but kept my mod loadout and thought it would be smart to just drag everything over after re-installing the game. For 4 days my game was plagued with constant "FFFFF Errors" and mods simply not functioning properly.
In order to fix this I had to literally uninstall every mod & re-install them one by one, while also wiping my save files & restoring them from the cloud. It was a long tedious process, but I can now confirm that using a large amount of mods does work with minimal issues. If you are still experiencing bugs, crashes or any other issues it's most likely due to some minor install error. However if you have any questions I will do my best to help & answer them.
