I was heading up to the Kirkstone Inn at the the top of the Kirkstone Pass to find it thick with fog with wind and rain. It would not be any fun to walk around in those conditions so I decided to do something else and was so glad it still went out into the great outdoors. You don't have much time so you need to make the most of the time you have in the mountains even on cloudy days.
