• Coordinate Dimensional Survey teams (receive and assign priorities and tasks on a daily basis) • Liaising with Client Quality, Engineering and Production Departments for verification of final dimensions, providing as-built survey information, reporting Out of Tolerance findings and requesting Welding repair/Heat straightening activities. • Final check and control of dimensions received for compliance with Client's tolerance requirements. • Preparation of Dimensional Check Reports/Certificates. • Maintaining and updating of Dimensional Check Register with records of Dimensional Check progress and status. • Liaising with Quality and Projects team in order to keep up with Project schedule. • Assisting Client’s Quality Lead Surveyor with Dimensional check (both manual and with
total station) and other tasks related to Dimensional Surveying. Measured Survey data of the actual structure will be imported into Rhinoceros and from these points the actual positions of the structure will be created.These actual structures will then be compared to the theoretical model and differences can be displayed. Reports will be created from these CAD comparisons. All processing is completed using BestFit software with calculations logged. The bundle fit network adjustment is used to improve and quantify the accuracy achieved.
